The HHPS music curriculum provides opportunities for students to attain the knowledge and skills necessary to be become musically literate, well-rounded individuals.
The HHPS Music Programme of Studies is organized into four strands:

PERFORM: Developing musicianship through singing, playing instruments, and moving to music

CREATE: Using the notational tools of music to express ideas, thoughts, and feelings; includes individual approaches to improvisation.

INVESTIGATE: Utilizing the study of music theory for music reading; analyzing the manner through which music is organized; making informed judgments about music and arts.

To develop the artistic sense among the coming generations, our students are provided with an Art and Craft Room where the students show their talent and ignite their creativity.
Creative activities are important for individual human beings. Learning and participating in arts like pottery, painting, writing, singing increases the happiness and well being of those involved. Learning art and craft helps make ours a civilized society, develops the spiritual side of our lives and promotes active citizenship. It also helps in enriching people’s lives empowering people, increasing health and well-being and greatly strengthening social capital.
